Andy
Lauer has worked under the direction of Oliver Stone, Michael
Bay (Armageddon, Pearl Harbor), David Fincher (Fight Club, Alien)
and David Kellogg, among others. He has shot on DV, High 8, Beta,
16, S16, 35, etc. in the toughest of conditions (The North Pole)
and the most unique situations (underwater, inside shark cages).
As a director, his film, television and documentary background has
given him a keen sense of style an acute sense of getting it all
in, on time and on budget.
Mr. Lauer recently directed The Tehuacan Project, a tender story
about deaf children defying incredible obstacles in rural Mexico.
Adrien Brody narrates and Brad Pitt executive produces. Prior to
that he received critical acclaim for his feature film Intermedio,
a supernatural thriller starring Edward Furlong (Terminator 2, American
History X) and Amber Benson (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and the multi-award
winning short film, Little Cuba. As a client of Brillstein-Grey
Entertainment and Innovative Artists, Lauer has direct access to
top-level actors, producers and film Distribution companies.
As an Emmy-nominated actor, Lauer has co-starred on the big screen
in Gunshy (Liam Neeson and Sandra Bullock), Screamers (Peter Weller),
and Never On Tuesday (Peter Berg). He has also appeared in For the
Boys (Bette Midler) and Oliver Stone's The Doors (Val Kilmer) and
Born on the Fourth of July (Tom Cruise). He's best known to America
as "Charlie" on the hit NBC comedy series Caroline in
the City.
