Sherng-Lee
Huang, our 2nd Unit Director/DP graduated magna cum laude,
phi beta kappa from Amherst College. Following graduation, Sherng-Lee
won a Watson Fellowship, a $22,000 grant that he used to shoot a
documentary about martial arts in China, the Philippines, Russia,
Italy, and Spain. His short "Two Tones" premiered at the
2004 Alameda International Film Festival, where it won the jury
prize for Best Experimental Film. "Two Tones" was also
selected for the NewFilmmakers showcase at the Anthology Film Archives
in New York. Sherng-Lee spent much of 2004 producing his first feature
film, “Coyote Funeral,” a drama about two brothers walking
across Texas. As a copywriter for publishing company Simon &
Schuster, Sherng-Lee has created publicity materials for NY Times
bestselling authors including James Lee Burke, Jeffery Deaver, Howard
Dean, and Michael Moore.
